The Europa Conference League final fixture is set to take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Tirana, Albania.

Feyenoord were no underdogs in the tournament as they come out top of Group E with 14 points. Feyenoord recorded an unbeaten run in the group stage of the competition with four wins and two draws. They were six-point clear of second-placed Slavia Praha, with Union Berlin and Maccabi Haifa eliminated from the Group.

Not only were they unbeaten in the group stage alone but has been unbeaten all through the tournament. Feyenoord won seven and drew five games to secure their place in the final. Remarkable among their fixtures is the semi-final tie against Olympic Marseille where they won 3-2 at home before playing a goalless drew away at marseille to book a place in the final stage of the competition.

Where is the Europa League final going to be Played?

The 2021-22 final of the competition will be played at the Arena Kombetare in Tirana, Albania. The stadium has a capacity of about 21,960 spectators. It was built on the site of the country’s former national stadium, the Qemal Stafa Stadium, and is located in the heart of Tirana, the country’s capital city.
The stadium was opened barely three years ago in 2019 and hosted the Euro 2020 qualifier between the home team and France. Albania lost the two legs of the competition with France winning 6-1 on aggregate.
