FT: Argentina 5-0 Estonia: Lionel Messi Scored Five Past Estonia
Lionel Messi once again made history by scoring five goals for the Argentina team in one game. The Argentine captain scored all the five goals in the international friendly in Pamplona, Spain on Sunday night.

lionel messi scored five goals to silence Estonia. The last time a player scored five for the nation was in 1942, and the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner made sure he record his name on the sands of history.
Messi scored a brace in the first half and later scored a hat-trick in the second half of the game to make it 5-0 for the home team. Argentina has had a blissful week after they thumped Italy 3-0 in the finalissima game in Wembley on Wednesday.

Argentina vs Estonia as it happened
Lionel Messi scored the opening goal of the game from the penalty spot in the eighth minute, as he sent the ball into the bottom right corner of the post.
Argentina took that advantage of the early lead to dominate Estonia which are currently ranked 110th in the FIFA World Ranking. Lionel Messi grabbed his second before the end of the first 45 minutes to put his team two goals ahead of the visitors. Papu Gomez’s pass met the Argentinian captain as he splashed a shot into the top corner of the post in close range.
In less than two minutes from the commencement of the second half, Messi sealed his hat-trick with a simple finish when the Argentinian right-back Nahuel Molina sent a cross into the box, and the PSG star was right in time to finish the ball brilliantly.
His fourth for the night was a stunning one, the Argentine talisman round the Estonian goalkeeper Matvei Igonen before scoring his fourth in the 71st minutes of the game.
Lionel Messi scored his fifth and the last goal for the night with less than 15 minutes to the end of the game, when Paulo Dybala’s shot was blocked, and the former Barcelona star played a rebound that rounded up a five-star display for Argentina.

Messi Joined Top Four Highest Internationa Scorers
Messi has now become the fourth-highest international goal scorer in world football following the five-goals party against Estonia. Messi is behind Portugal and Man United star Cristiano Ronaldo who has scored 115 international goals for Portugal, Ali Daei who has 109 goals for Iran, and Mokhtar Dahari who has scored 89 goals for Malaysia. Cristiano Ronaldo also added to his personal goal tally for Portugal after scoring twice in the first half of their Nations League fixture against Switzerland on Sunday night.
Messi has been fully involved in almost all of Argentina’s victory and has won virtually every competition he finds himself and his team in at the international level, but there is yet one trophy he will wish to land in his trophy cabinet, which is the World Cup trophy. The 2022 World Cup is slated to take place in Qatar starting in November later and is likely to be Lionel Messi’s last. The former Barcelona star’s is currently 34 years old and may not be fortunate to feature in the 2026 World Cup considering his age and career, hence this year’s World Cup is his last chance to win the famous trophy and he is determined to make the most of it .
Lionel Messi Comment on World Cup 2022 Preparations
In an interview with the seven-time World’s Best player, he has this to say as regards their preparations ahead of the forthcoming World Cup in Qatar. “We keep growing, that’s what we are looking for,” he said this week. “We are working on a day-by-day basis in order to improve further. We continue to say that we are not the top favorites, but we will put up a fight against anyone because this group is hopeful, it has clear goals”.
“We must keep improving. Now we have important matches in September, we need to work and improve in order to arrive the best way possible at our World Cup debut.”

Celtic vs Aberdeen August 2022: Match Preview, Lineup, and best Predictions
Celtic, the current Scottish Premiership champions, will kick off their 2022/23 campaign against Aberdeen on Sunday, hoping to kick things off with a bang.

In this post, we will give you all the latest team news, possible lineup, prediction, and h2h for the Celtic vs Aberdeen match. In the previous season, the visitors were involved in a fierce battle for the title, and they will be anxious to prevent similar occurrences.
Celtic had a memorable 2021-22 campaign, having finished as champions, four points ahead of Rangers, that they’ll be looking to replicate this season.
The Scottish giants dominated the league throughout the season, having lost only three matches and displaying a variety of attacking prowess.
Celtic went on to score 92 goals in 38 matches, which is more than any other club in the division, and they have continued to score two goals or more in every of their summer pre-season fixtures so far.

Ange Postecoglou’s side has made Celtic Park a stronghold all through the 2021-22 season, losing only one game, which should give them plenty of conviction this weekend.
The club demonstrated their abilities once again in their recent preseason outing, defeating Norwich City 2-0, giving them a flawless pace ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Aberdeen finished 10th in the Scottish Premiership last season, a position they will be keen to avoid this season. The team suffered a gradual deformation as they keep descending the table. They believed “this is a time to bounce back”. We’ll keep our fingers crossed and see to that.
The Dons started struggling in the second half of last season, getting weighed down into battles with St Johnstone and Dundee, but they came out ahead by avoiding the bottom two spots.
Only six points differentiated them and the Saints on the Scottish League table, demonstrating how close situations were, and likewise, the performances in away fixtures are nothing to write home about as they only managed to win two away fixtures.
Regardless of the challenges faced by Aberdeen in the last campaign, they have begun the 2022-23 season with a bang, having won all four Scottish League Cup group matches.
Jim Goodwin’s team did well not to have conceded any goal in all the fixtures, while also scoring 12 goals to demonstrate their abilities on both ends of the field.
Celtic vs Aberdeen Team News
Celtic turned down a transfer bid for Stephen Welsh, which means he will be available to feature in the game for Celtic this Sunday, which is a positive for the squad.
Kyogo Furuhashi will be among the most dangerous scoring options during this whole match, especially after struggling with injuries during the previous season.
Aberdeen have recently put in solid performances, and as a result, Goodwin has a lot of options to choose from considering the number of players who are available, willing, and ready to mount the pitch against Celtic.
This season, the Dons’ squad has been bolstered by the additions of Bojan Miovski, Luis Lopes, Jayden Richardson, Ylber Ramadani, and Cal Roberts, which might result in several new faces being used in this match as they are keen on a bigger and better impact ahead of next season.
Celtic vs Aberdeen Prediction
Aberdeen have put in some outstanding performances over the last week, with Goodwin demonstrating that his team is able to improve significantly from last season’s outing.
We, however, do not see this game as a tough one at all. Despite a series of preparation and reformation by Aberdeen, we see Celtic comfortably winning the match
Celtic are expected to be a title contender again this season, and the Hoops should be able to pick up 3 points on Sunday.
