Antony Transfer: Ajax Boss Ready to Fight Man United Boss over Anthony Transfer
Ajax Amsterdam lost their manager to Manchester United and are not ready to let any of their key players go anytime soon.

One transfer you can hear on the lips of every united fan is Antony Transfer news from Ajax. No doubt Man United have not been in a good shape but Pogba is certainly not their only problem. With the exit of the french midfielder to Juventus, a replacement as Antony won’t be a bad idea at all.
New Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder took over from former Boss Eric Ten Hag and is determined to keep his key players at the club. After the exit of the former club coach, Schreuder is not ready to allow Manchester United to raid his club this summer.
The English side has been pursuing Ajax winger Anthony but the Ajax are not willing to let their ace winger leave easily.
Schreuder has urged the Dutch organization to hold onto their key players including the Red Devils’ target Antony, and defender Jurrien Timber.
Manchester United succeeded in hiring Erik ten Hag from Ajax and are hopeful the head coach come along with star players from his former club to Old Trafford.

According to Ajax Boss, the club won’t allow the winger to leave the club until the expiration of his contract with the club. In a recent interview with ESPN, he commented on Anthony and his comment goes “It is clear that we want to keep that boy, I think he still has a contract until 2025”.
Ajax boss comments on Antony
“I want to work with him; he knows that, and the club knows that too.” Said Schreuder.
On Timber, he added: “I think this guy is very smart. He knows very well what is good for himself to develop. And I don’t think he’s finished at Ajax.”

Can Ajax keep the Brazilian winger?
If the decision is at the discretion of Ajax’s boss alone, it would have been a concluded issue but Antony is eager to join Manchester United this summer, and that has been a big problem for the club’s new boss.
Antony has been in fine form in recent time which is evident in his outing in the just-concluded season where he had 10 goals and nine assists in all competitions. This performance made him one of the most sought-after attackers in Europe, and the dream of joining a bigger league ahead of the 2022 World Cup is proving irresistible.
What do we know about Man Utd’s bid to sign Antony?
90minsoccer gathered that Antony’s agents are already in Europe intending to hasten and possibly conclude talks ahead of the winger’s transfer from Ajax.
The future of the Dutch winger will be decided in the next few days as many European giants are interested in the 22-year-old with Manchester United leading the race. According to reports, Antony’s agent are willing to accept €60 million (£51m/$64m) for the winger while Manchester United have so far offered £40m. As it stands, there is a possibility that the two parties will work in synergy to land the wunderkind at Old Trafford this summer.
Manchester United have a good relationship with the Dutch club after their recent deal that landed Ten Hag at the club, they are confident of wrapping up the deal with Ajax. The English giants are sure of convincing Antony to join his manager at the Club.
If Antony’s transfer pulls through Sao Paulo will make around €15m (£13m/$16m) as profit following the 20 percent sell-on clause that was part of the deal the young lad joined Ajax at a very cheaper price in 2020. They will also benefit 2.7 percent profit from the deal entitlement from his time in their youth academy.
Antony’s performance for Ajax?
in 2020 Antony joined Ajax from Sao Paulo for a fee of €15.75m and has risen to become a star player for the Amsterdam club.
Antony has made 79 appearances for Ajax in his two years at the club scoring 22 goals as a winger.
He played a vital role in their Eredivisie and KNVB Beker winning in the just concluded 2021-22 campaign, as he found the back of the net 12 times in 33 appearances in all competitions.
What other positions could Man Utd Pay Attention to?
Manchester United entered the summer transfer window intending to boost their midfield as it was their top priority, following the exit of Pogba, there is a need to get a possible replacement as soon as possible and the Red Devils have narrowed their interest to Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen with the hope of securing either of the options.
Every fan of the English Premier League will agree with me that the club’s defensive line is a shadow of itself with the incessant woes of the club captain Harry Maguire. Getting a full-back would also help to boost Eric ten Hag’s team. However, the need for a full-back is not as paramount as reinforcing the midfield and attacking force of the team in preparation for next season.

Rangers Youngster Sets Celtic Fans Alight with Bold Celebration in Epic Kilmarnock Moment
Rangers Youngster Sets Celtic Fans Alight with Bold Celebration in Epic Kilmarnock Moment!
In a Scottish Premiership clash that had fans on the edge of their seats, Rangers’ loanee Findlay Curtis turned heads with a cheeky celebration that has since gone viral online. The 19-year-old, on loan at Kilmarnock, was at the heart of the drama as his side surged into an early lead against fierce rivals Celtic at Rugby Park — and he didn’t hold back in celebrating it.
Curtis, deployed in a more advanced role for this fixture, made the most of his opportunity. After Tyreece John-Jules opened the scoring and Kilmarnock doubled their advantage, cameras caught the young winger raising his arms and gesturing in celebration directly in front of the Celtic supporters in the away end — a moment that instantly lit up social media.
Although his exuberant celebration was quickly cut short when veteran keeper Kasper Schmeichel ushered him away, the damage was done — pundits and fans alike have been talking about it ever since. That kind of on-field bravado in front of the rival support doesn’t happen every day, and it’s one that will stick in the minds of supporters on both sides.

Whether you see it as passionate football emotion or a bit of mind games, Curtis’ reaction added another unforgettable moment to a season already packed with drama and rivalry — showing once again why the Scottish Premiership never fails to entertain.

End of the Road at Parkhead? Andy Walker Drops Brutal Verdict on Celtic’s Japanese Duo
“Are Celtic’s Japanese Stars Past Their Best? Andy Walker Predicts End of the Road for Maeda & Hatate”
Recent pundit commentary has stirred fresh debate among fans of Celtic Football Club, with veteran analyst Andy Walker making bold claims about two of the team’s key Japanese players — Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate. Walker’s verdict? This could be the final chapter at Parkhead for both players if they don’t turn their seasons around.
Struggles on the Pitch
Walker’s view stems from both men’s current dip in form. Hatate, normally a creative midfield presence, was recently scrutinised after a costly mistake led to a penalty for Livingston — and Walker suggested it might be time for him to lose his place temporarily in the starting XI to find confidence again.
Meanwhile, Maeda — who once electrified Scottish football with blistering pace and a PFA Player of the Year-winning season — has yet to recapture that spark this campaign. The forward is playing well below the high standards he set previously, and Walker believes both he and Hatate may have run their course at Celtic unless they rediscover their best form before the season ends.
Why This Matters
Walker’s assessment resonates beyond just match performance:
- Maeda’s Blocked Transfer: Earlier in the season, Maeda openly admitted he wanted a move away — only for Celtic to block it — and pundits speculated this block may have affected his focus and sharpness.
- Legacy and Timing: If both players fail to make a strong impact before the campaign’s conclusion, Walker argues their legacies at Celtic could be overshadowed by disappointment rather than remembered for their earlier success.
The Bigger Picture
Celtic’s squad is at a crossroads. With new tactics, fresh faces and evolving expectations under manager Brendan Rodgers, long-serving players must justify their place or risk being phased out. Walker’s blunt but insightful commentary has sparked fresh debate among supporters over who should lead the club forward — and who’s time might be running out.
