The former Serie A champions are reportedly keen on pursuing a loan move for Partey when the transfer window opens in January, according to Foot Mercato.
The midfielder has been plagued with multiple injuries in the ongoing campaign and has managed to clock just 341 minutes on the pitch for the Gunners. His last appearance for the club was on October 8 against Manchester City where he came off the bench and played for just 15 minutes.
The Foot Mercato report further claims that Juventus are actively pursuing a move for the Ghanaian international and the club’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli recently flew to London and approached the player over a possible loan move.
The 30-year-old midfielder’s existing contract with the Gunners expires in 2025 and the club are expected to demand €30 million (£26m/$31.7m) in fee if an offer for a permanent transfer comes their way. But it is believed that the Turin-based club are seeking a loan move.
The Bianconeri are also eyeing moves for Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski and Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi other than Partey. Massimiliano Allegri wants to strengthen his midfield in the upcoming window after losing Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli.
While Pogba faces a lengthy suspension after testing positive for a banned substance, the Italian is serving a seven-month suspension for betting on illegal platforms.
The former Italian champions have had an impressive start to their campaign in the 2023/24 season having won nine out of their first 12 games and are currently second on the league table, two points behind leaders Inter.
They will be next seen in action after the international break when they take on Salernitana on November 25 in a Serie A clash.
