Fantasy Premier League Price Reveal 2022/23: Monday Batch
On Monday, more Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player prices for the 2022–2023 campaign were made public.

The preparation for the forthcoming fantasy premier league Son Heung-min’s price tag and Fantasy position were the top stories when Tottenham Hotspur first released their player prices on the news this morning.
In order to prepare for the likely impending relaunch of the FPL season, we now have prices for all 20 Premier League clubs after Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Everton, and Nottingham Forest followed.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Son Heung-min has received the expected price increase following a stellar season in which he scored 258 points and made 33 attacking returns.
He will now set Fantasy managers back £12.0 million, an increase of £2m from his original starting price in the 2021/22 campaign.
Son and Kevin De Bruyne are currently joint-second most expensive assets in FPL, with only Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) being more expensive.
The South Korean international will remain a midfielder in FPL this season; it always seemed doubtful that Son would go to the forward position once Salah averted a reclassification on Saturday and it was made apparent that the game-makers were not planning to change the positional frameworks.
Harry Kane (£11.5m), who lowers a whole million pounds from last summer and rejoins FPL at the same price as Erling Haaland, is less expensive than Son.
Son scored 258 points in 2021–2022, compared to Kane’s 192, which was a huge 66 points difference. However, Kane’s first 17 Gameweeks were terrible, with him contributing just one goal and one assist.
As of Gameweek 18, he was first for attacking returns and first for double-digit hauls among all Fantasy assets in terms of points:
Dejan Kulusevski (£8.0 million) receives a substantial raise as well but is still £4.0 million less expensive than Son, so the Swede will undoubtedly draw a lot of interest. Below is the complete table of player prices for Tottenham Hotspurs
| S/N | PLAYER’S NAME | POSITION | PRICE |
| 1 | Kane | Forward | £11.5m |
| 2 | Son | Midfielder | £12m |
| 3 | Perisic | Defender | £5.5m |
| 4 | Lloris | Goalkeeper | £5.5m |
| 5 | Sessegnon | Defender | £4.5m |
| 6 | Dier | Defender | £5m |
| 7 | Doherty | Defender | £5m |
| 8 | Romero | Defender | £5m |
| 9 | Bentancur | Midfielder | £5.5m |
| 10 | Hojbjerg | Midfielder | £5.5m |
| 11 | kulusevski | Midfielder | £8m |

LEICESTER CITY
Jamie Vardy’s asking price of £9.5 million, which is down a million from last summer’s initial price, is his lowest since 2019–20.
Aging limbs and competition from Patson Daka (£6.0m) and Kelechi Iheanacho (£6.5m) are of course factors to be taken into account with the veteran striker, but he was Brendan Rodgers’ man for the big moments in 2021–2022, and unlike last season, the Foxes are no longer required to balance domestic and European obligations.
The “five substitutions” rule may also benefit Vardy, who will get fewer overall rests but more in-game minute management.
The 35-year-old hitman had a difficult season due to injuries, which limited him to just 20 starts. Despite this, he still managed to score 15 goals, and his shot-to-goal conversion rate (27.8 percent) was the best among first-choice FPL strikers.
James Maddison has increased by one million from where he was a year ago and now joins a large group of midfielders valued at £8.0 million.
In the first 12 Gameweeks of 2021–2022, Maddison had a Kane-like start, contributing just one assist. However, he went on to score 22 attacking returns in his final 23 games, averaging an incredible 7.4 points per start during that span.
| S/N | PLAYER’S NAME | POSITIONS | PRICE |
| 1 | Schmeichel | Goalkeeper | £5m |
| 2 | Fofana | Defender | £4.5m |
| 3 | Justin | Defender | £4.5m |
| 4 | Ricardo | Defender | £4.5m |
| 5 | Dewsbury-Hall | Midfielder | £5m |
| 6 | Tielemans | Midfielder | £6.5m |
| 7 | Daka | Forward | £6m |
| 8 | Iheanacho | Forward | £6.5m |
| 9 | Maddison | Midfielder | £8m |
| 10 | Vardy | Forward | £9.5m |
| 11 | Barnes | Midfielder | £7m |
CRYSTAL PALACE
As Crystal Palace finished last on the Season Ticker for fixture difficulty in the first nine Gameweeks, it is likely that few of our initial FPL squads will include any Crystal Palace players. Over that time, they play five of the “big six,” and they don’t encounter a freshly promoted team until Gameweek 16.
Only five clubs kept more clean sheets than the Eagles (12) in 2021/22, and only the top four teams posted fewer predicted goals conceded. Their defenders might be good buys when the schedule eases (xGC).
Marc Guehi, Joachim Andersen, and Tyrick Mitchell are still available at the same price they were last summer, and all of the regulars may be purchased for £4.5 million.
| S/N | PLAYER’S NAME | POSITION | PRICE |
| 1 | Zaha | Midfielder | £7m |
| 2 | Olise | Midfielder | £5.5m |
| 3 | Guaita | Goalkeeper | £4.5m |
| 4 | Tomkins | Defender | £4m |
| 5 | Andersen | Defender | £4.5m |
| 6 | Mitchel | Defender | £4.5m |
| 7 | Hughes | Midfielder | £5m |
| 8 | Eze | Midfielder | £5.5m |
| 9 | Eduard | Forward | £5.5m |
| 10 | Mateta | Forward | £5.5m |
| 11 | Guehi | Defender | £4.5m |

EVERTON
Dominic Calvert-starting Lewin’s price of £8.0 million has not decreased despite a season marred by injuries, shattering any hopes that it might.
In the 2021–2022 campaign, the Everton striker scored five goals and provided two assists while only starting 15 Premier League games and twice coming off the bench.
Of all, he did score 29 goals in each of his previous two seasons, and he will presumably return to penalty kicks now that Richarlison has left for north London.
| S/N | PLAYER’S NAME | POSITION | PRICE |
| 1 | Gordon | Midfielder | £5.5m |
| 2 | Calvert-Lewin | Forward | £8m |
| 3 | Pickford | Goalkeeper | £4.5m |
| 4 | Coleman | Defender | £4.5m |
| 5 | Tarkowski | Defender | £4.5m |
| 6 | Mykolenko | Defender | £4.5m |
| 7 | Dele | Midfielder | £5.5m |
| 8 | Doucoure | Midfielder | £5.5m |
| 9 | Gray | Midfielder | £5.5m |
| 10 | Iwobi | Midfielder | £5.5m |
| 11 |

NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Brennan Johnson, the top scorer for Nottingham Forest from 2021–2022, was listed as a £6.0 million striker in the day’s last round of price reveals.
Johnson, a Wales international, has spent a lot of time in his career playing in the hole or on the flank, but now that he’s settled in as one of the two attackers in Steve Cooper’s 3-4-1-2, FPL has predictably labeled him as a forward.
Johnson provided 10 additional assists to the Forest team in addition to his 16 goals last season.
Taiwo Awoniyi, a summer signing, is comparable to Johnson in terms of position and money.
| S/N | PLAYER’S NAME | POSITION | PRICE |
| 1 | Awoyini | Forward | £6m |
| 2 | Johnson | Forward | £6m |
| 3 | Worall | Defender | £4.5m |
| 4 | Mighten | Midfielder | £5m |
| 5 | Yates | Midfielder | £5m |
| 6 | Surridge | Forward | £5m |

Rangers Youngster Sets Celtic Fans Alight with Bold Celebration in Epic Kilmarnock Moment
Rangers Youngster Sets Celtic Fans Alight with Bold Celebration in Epic Kilmarnock Moment!
In a Scottish Premiership clash that had fans on the edge of their seats, Rangers’ loanee Findlay Curtis turned heads with a cheeky celebration that has since gone viral online. The 19-year-old, on loan at Kilmarnock, was at the heart of the drama as his side surged into an early lead against fierce rivals Celtic at Rugby Park — and he didn’t hold back in celebrating it.
Curtis, deployed in a more advanced role for this fixture, made the most of his opportunity. After Tyreece John-Jules opened the scoring and Kilmarnock doubled their advantage, cameras caught the young winger raising his arms and gesturing in celebration directly in front of the Celtic supporters in the away end — a moment that instantly lit up social media.
Although his exuberant celebration was quickly cut short when veteran keeper Kasper Schmeichel ushered him away, the damage was done — pundits and fans alike have been talking about it ever since. That kind of on-field bravado in front of the rival support doesn’t happen every day, and it’s one that will stick in the minds of supporters on both sides.

Whether you see it as passionate football emotion or a bit of mind games, Curtis’ reaction added another unforgettable moment to a season already packed with drama and rivalry — showing once again why the Scottish Premiership never fails to entertain.

End of the Road at Parkhead? Andy Walker Drops Brutal Verdict on Celtic’s Japanese Duo
“Are Celtic’s Japanese Stars Past Their Best? Andy Walker Predicts End of the Road for Maeda & Hatate”
Recent pundit commentary has stirred fresh debate among fans of Celtic Football Club, with veteran analyst Andy Walker making bold claims about two of the team’s key Japanese players — Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate. Walker’s verdict? This could be the final chapter at Parkhead for both players if they don’t turn their seasons around.
Struggles on the Pitch
Walker’s view stems from both men’s current dip in form. Hatate, normally a creative midfield presence, was recently scrutinised after a costly mistake led to a penalty for Livingston — and Walker suggested it might be time for him to lose his place temporarily in the starting XI to find confidence again.
Meanwhile, Maeda — who once electrified Scottish football with blistering pace and a PFA Player of the Year-winning season — has yet to recapture that spark this campaign. The forward is playing well below the high standards he set previously, and Walker believes both he and Hatate may have run their course at Celtic unless they rediscover their best form before the season ends.
Why This Matters
Walker’s assessment resonates beyond just match performance:
- Maeda’s Blocked Transfer: Earlier in the season, Maeda openly admitted he wanted a move away — only for Celtic to block it — and pundits speculated this block may have affected his focus and sharpness.
- Legacy and Timing: If both players fail to make a strong impact before the campaign’s conclusion, Walker argues their legacies at Celtic could be overshadowed by disappointment rather than remembered for their earlier success.
The Bigger Picture
Celtic’s squad is at a crossroads. With new tactics, fresh faces and evolving expectations under manager Brendan Rodgers, long-serving players must justify their place or risk being phased out. Walker’s blunt but insightful commentary has sparked fresh debate among supporters over who should lead the club forward — and who’s time might be running out.
