The French side has agreed to pay the 28-year-old Ivorian salary as part of the agreement with the hope of a possible permanent transfer to the club.
As of the deal signed by both parties, Marseille will pay a 6 million euro (£5.07 million) commitment to buy contingent upon performance and Ligue 1 club Champions League qualification.

Bailly Predicaments at Man United
After joining the Red Devils in 2016 from Villareal for a fee of £30 million, Bailly has failed to keep up to par and secure a spot in the first squad.
During his 5 years’ stay at Old Trafford, he was only featured in 45 Premier League games due to a series of injury worries that keep the center-back out most of the time.
Undoubtedly, he has fallen down the Man United hierarchy due to the arrival of veteran defenders Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane who joined United during the summer transfer window. Get more Man Utd transfer news here.

BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea FC named Graham Potter as new Head Coach
Graham Potter has been named the head coach of Chelsea with a five-year deal.

After taking over during the summer, Todd Boehly appoints Potter as his first managerial choice. In a thorough reorganization of Roman Abramovich’s trusted staff, the American is still serving as sporting director after replacing director Marina Granovskaia, chairman Bruce Buck, and technical and performance advisor Petr Cech.
According to Sky Sports News, Chelsea has compensated Brighton the sum of £21.5 million for Potter and the other four employees who followed him to Stamford Bridge.
Boehly’s comment on Graham Potter
“Graham Potter is a seasoned manager and a pioneer in the Premier League who fits our vision for the team, and we are happy to bring him to Chelsea,” stated Boehly following Potter’s hiring. He is not only incredibly talented on the field, but he also possesses skills and abilities that will help Chelsea become a more prosperous team.
“We look forward to continuing to support him, his coaching staff, and the squad in achieving their maximum potential in the upcoming months and years,” the statement continued. “He has had a major impact at his previous clubs, and we look forward to his positive impact at Chelsea.”
Kyle MacAulay, the recruitment specialist who has worked with the 47-year-old since his Ostersunds days, as well as assistant head coach Billy Reid, goalie coach Ben Roberts, and first-team coach Bjorn Hamberg will follow him from Brighton to Chelsea.
Potter’s comment after his appointment at Chelsea
Potter added, “I am tremendously delighted and thrilled to represent Chelsea FC, this magnificent football team. “I am ecstatic to work with Chelsea’s new ownership group, and I am looking forward to getting to know and collaborating with the dynamic set of players as well as building a club and culture that our incredible fans can be proud of.
I’d also like to express my gratitude to Brighton & Hove Albion for giving me this chance, and in particular to Tony Bloom and all the players, staff, and fans for their unwavering support throughout my time at the team.

Saturday’s west London derby at Fulham, which will be Potter’s first game in charge, will kick off at 12.30 p.m.
After Chelsea’s 1-0 Champions League loss to Dinamo Zagreb and only six games into the new Premier League season, Tuchel was fired on Wednesday.
On Wednesday afternoon, Chelsea owner Boehly visited Potter in central London for what were reportedly “good conversations” regarding the Brighton manager’s future role at Stamford Bridge and the club’s aspirations to expand the entire football operation.
Andrew Crofts, the interim manager of Brighton U21, will oversee the Seagulls with assistance from Shannon Ruth, Nick Stanley, Adam Lallana, and Jack Stern, the assistant goalkeeping coach, as well as other staff members.
Carragher: I fear for Potter
If Graham Potter were to replace Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea’s manager, Jamie Carragher says he “fears” for him and that he “should be very careful.”
“It’s a very cutthroat club, and I’m not convinced [Graham Potter] is the ideal match – perhaps Chelsea is indicating they want to do things differently in the future by putting a coach in charge instead of a manager or by changing how they operate behind the scenes. But if I were Graham Potter, I would find it extremely difficult to imagine that they will act in a different manner. They’ve just got rid of a manager six games into the season.
“It’s a significant step up in his management career and Chelsea are still one of the best clubs. They are currently the world champions, but you fear for Graham Potter that he’ll be in the same situation as every other Chelsea manager has been for the last 10 years – unless he produces results immediately they’ll be getting themselves another new manager in 12 months.”
Analysis: Potter could be the man to work the magic Boehly wants Ron Walker of Sky Sports
Graham Potter from Brighton checks all the right boxes if Chelsea are serious about completely overhauling the team over the long term, whoever is in charge.
Despite having fewer overall resources than the Blues and any of the other teams around them, his now-former Seagulls team is three points and two spots ahead of Chelsea in the table after six games of the new season.
But it’s not about that tiny sample. What Potter has been constructing in Brighton has been in the works for a lot longer. Their particular brand of passing football is the obvious result of his philosophy, but his work on the south coast goes far beyond the tactics board.
Appointing Potter, who placed 15th and 16th in his first two seasons at the Amex Stadium, will draw criticism for his decision to act after only 100 days of ownership.
However, if Boehly’s reasoning was to hire a coach whose long-term goals he can better align with, as he has privately stated, then Thomas Tuchel’s dismissal, though still harsh, may prove to be a more astute move than it seemed at the time.

The details of Tuchel’s last day at Chelsea
After the brief meeting at 9.30am on Wednesday, when he was dismissed, Tuchel cleared his desk and stayed at the practice field with his departing coaching staff to say their goodbyes.
Before getting back into football, the German manager, who started with the team in January 2021, wants to take a break.
Many Chelsea employees still hold Tuchel in high regard due to the trophies and the leadership he demonstrated under extremely trying conditions. The coronavirus pandemic and the end of the Abramovich era at Chelsea were challenging events, with the latter leading to club sanctions, unpaid employees, and concerns over the club’s viability.
In a meeting on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., Thomas Tuchel was fired. While many important individuals, including Bruce Buck, Marina Granovskaia, and Petr Cech, announced their departures, Tuchel also demonstrated leadership during the takeover saga.
Last season, Tuchel was coveted by teams like Manchester United and Barcelona, but he remained devoted to Chelsea.
Even though Chelsea ended up making a record-breaking £278 million in summer spending, Tuchel and the co-owners disagreed on some goals and tactics.
For instance, Tuchel did not want Cristiano Ronaldo, but the owners were open to the idea of signing him from United.
On Wednesday afternoon at Cobham, Chelsea co-owners Boehly and Behdad Eghbali met with Chelsea players and staff.
They described what had transpired with Tuchel and their plans for the club’s future. Additionally present at the Tuesday game in Zagreb were Boehly and Eghbali.

OFFICIAL : Chelsea disclosed Aubameyang Jersey number
Chelsea has officially completed the signing of former Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the final day of the summer transfer window. Chelsea fans and football lovers have been keen on knowing Aubameyang jersey number at Stamford Bridge.

The Gabon international will need to overcome the unpleasant trend of the shirt number 9 jersey at Chelsea. It is a trend that any player who picked the number 9 jersey at the club turned out a flop, however, Auba went ahead to take that risk as he was handed the number 9 shirt at Stamford Bridge.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang jersey number at Chelsea
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has chosen to take a risk by picking the number 9 shirt at the club as he is set to lead the attacking line for the blues. Chelsea has had an epileptic attacking force since the exit of Oliver Giroud and a loan move of Lukaku back to his former club Inter.

Chelsea officially unveiled the forward as a new Chelsea signing a day after the closure of the summer transfer window. Aubameyang joined Chelsea from Barcelona for 10m pounds plus Marcos Alonso. Aubameyang has had a great outing in Spain after his controversial Arsenal exit.
90minsoccer understands that the Gabonese striker sealed a two-year contract with the Blues that will keep him at the club until summer 2024. It is a happy reunion between Aubameyang and his former manager Thomas Tuchel who once coached him at Borussia Dortmund. It will be easier for Tuchel to manage the new signing at Chelsea since he is already conversant with his style of play.

Many football lovers including some Chelsea fans believed Aubameyang made the wrong choice of shirt number selection. The allocation of his shirt number can be termed a to be controversial as the number 9 shirt number belongs to Chelsea loanee striker Romelu Lukaku who is on a season-long loan at Inter.

Which Jersey number will Lukaku wear when he returns to Chelsea?
Should Lukaku return to Chelsea next summer, there will definitely be a change of shirt number, as either Lukaku will be made to pick another shirt number or Aubameyang may have to drop the number 9 shirt for the rightful owner.
Before Lukaku, many other players have worn the number 9 shirt at Chelsea, most of which didn’t have a great spell at the club and turned out a flop before exiting the club. Tammy Abraham was the occupant of the shirt number before the arrival of Lukaku and was not performing as expected, however, the introduction of Lukaku into the position didn’t get any better.
Also on the list of players who have won the iconic shirt number at the club are Steve Sidwell, Franco Di Santo, Fernando Torres, Radamel Falcao, Alvaro Morata, and Khalid Boulahrouz among others.
Aubameyang Jersey Number History
However, Aubameyang is no stranger to the shirt number as he had worn the number 9 shirt at his former club Saint-Etienne – during the 2010/11 season – The Gabonese forward also wore the shirt at Dijon in 2008 before his move to Saint-Etienne. During his brief stay at FC Barcelona, Auba occupied the No.17 jersey which is currently occupied by Chelsea’s new signing Raheem Sterling – Also, Auba wore the No.14 shirt at Arsenal, No.17 at Dortmund, and No.7 for most of his time at St Etienne.
Chelsea fans, the head coach, and the entire management of the club will be hoping the player overcomes the ill luck of the number 9 shirt number.

Every football fan can testify to the credibility of Fabrizio Romano Twitter handle in terms of transfer updates and official reports as it seems to be the earliest and surest transfer update anyone can get.
The football transfer windows are a blast of activities for football teams all over the globe as they look to add players and release others in terms of improving their squads.

It’s showtime for Fabrizio Romano, the world’s famous transfer news expert.
The Italian who was born in 1993 (29 years old) has built a news reporting empire centered on breaking news and transfer speculation that includes the world’s most powerful clubs. He is a model in his own right, creating content for social media handles like Twitter and YouTube whilst also working as a transfer expert for mainstream media outlets such as CBS Sports and The Guardian. That concept is built on sticking a hand on the pulse of all the biggest football transfer stories.
The Sporting News interviewed Romano to learn more about his career as a football reporter and how he became a globally famous person in his sport.

Who is Fabrizio Romano?
Romano was born in Naples, Italy, and attended university in Milan before heading out on his own into the world of journalism.
Roman Roman has successfully gathered 1.12 million subscribers on YouTube, 9.7 million followers on Twitter, and 8.9 million followers on Instagram, he has established himself as the worldwide superpower in transfer news. When he clicks “send” on a post, the entire world watches.
“I discovered from a tender age that I desired to be a journalist,” Romano told The Sporting News, “Although I have always loved soccer I wasn’t at the appropriate level to play it professionally.” This is why I ended up choosing journalism right away. Furthermore, my first knowledge came when I created a small website at 16 which influenced me greatly.
“My interest in football stems from my father, Luigi, a huge football fan who has often helped bring me closer to the game.”
Romano became a widely renowned football name, but he holds relevance to himself as a person and therefore does not allow the challenges of his profession and popularity to hinder his job or his wellbeing.
“I sincerely don’t feel any pressure,” Romano admitted. “I am aware that, due to social media, every utterance of mine has a global effect on football, but I feel it is essential to recall, with humility, that I’m still a journalist and that soccer is just a game.”
Those with power and influence have far more difficult jobs than mine. Being a transfer market news reporter is a demanding, difficult, and rewarding job.
“All in my world seems to be better and easier than people think; I’m just a regular guy!” Romano elaborated.
Fabrizio Romano and “Here We Go!”
“Here we go!” has now become similar to Romano’s journalism, a sort of tagline. Romano uses it to indicate that a transaction is complete, but it has evolved into something more than a measure since its inception.
“Some years back, I was disclosing a Man United transfer news and after a month of updates, I wrote: ‘Here we go!'” Romano revealed to The Sporting News. as if to say, ‘everything concerning this deal has been completed and finalized.’ Many of my Followers on Twitter began to ask me, “Can you say ‘Here we go’ for this Liverpool, Arsenal, or Barcelona, deal?”
“At that point, I discovered it was a good idea, and I wish to explore it because it arose from my fans, not from marketing clients, strategies, or any company’s recommendation.”
Once asked about the weirdest time of his profession, Romano mentioned being a part of the official declaration of Lorenzo Insigne’s move to Toronto FC: “I assumed it was unrealistic to get to this stage… I’m from Naples, and Insigne is a superstar there. Eleven years ago, I was in college with peers who referred to Lorenzo as an mentor, and now I’m announcing his transfer with a clip on Toronto accounts.
“When it occurred, I sat and thought, wow, this is incredible!” Stop after five minutes and move on to the next piece of news. Whoever comes to a halt is lost in the transfer market.”
It’s not official until @FabrizioRomano says the magic words… 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀. 𝙒𝙀. 𝙂𝙊!

What was Fabrizio Romano’s first transfer story?
Fabrizio Romano ended up getting his first massive recognition in Italian Serie A, but it’s not as a reporter covering an Italian player.
From a press conference Romano gave to “The New York Times” in January 2022, Mauro Icardi’s transfer from Sampdoria to Inter Milan was his first big transfer update in Italian football.
Romano claims that he met Icardi’s agent while researching a story regarding his transfer from the Barcelona academy to Sampdoria as an 18-year-old in 2011. Romano’s initial investigation of Icardi had assisted the agent in obtaining Icardi’s signature, and then when the time was right, he repaid the journalist.
Romano’s first big break out would be Icardi’s transfer to Inter 2 years later. “Romano said I aided him at the beginning of his career, but now it was his time to assist me,” he told the New York Times.
He learned of the deal 6 months before it could be announced, telling The New York Times, “It when everything about my career in Italian football changed and I began to gain was the time everything transformed in my career with respect to Italian football.”
One other significant story in Romano’s career had been his disclosure on Zinedine Zidane’s departure from Real Madrid last year. According to Romano to The Sporting News, “When I delivered the news that Zinedine Zidane was leaving Real Madrid, it was a global exclusive that caused me to pause with my pals and exclaim, “Damn, I gave an crucial headlines about Real Madrid manager, about a football star like Zidane!” Wow.”
Who were influential people in Fabrizio Romano’s career?
No one in the news reporting profession achieves the heights Romano has without the assistance of others around them.
If asked who is the most inspirational figure in his professional life, Romano immediately thought of one name. “Without a doubt, Gianluca Di Marzio, an exceptional journalist of whom I did learn it all.”
During the initial stages of his profession following his Icardi to Inter transfer news update, Romano did work for Di Marzio, a transfer expert focused on Italian teams with tendrils all over Europe, at Sky Italia.
Romano made certain other journalists who were part and parcel of his career success “I valued my relationships with some of my sources, agents, and sports managers, whom I will not name. They believe in me, which benefits my career. And, without a doubt, the family was crucial in my case; my mother, Susanna, has always allowed me to pursue my dreams despite the high risk.”
Above all, Romano understood from his peers that speed is often not the most essential part of transfer news. Speed could be a journalist’s terrible adversary at times.
“It’s not uncommon to have to wait prior to actually reporting news,” Romano informed The Sporting News. “This is difficult because if another journalist publishes first, your work suffers. The sense of precision remains constant, but the price of the news changes. The importance of honoring the source, on the other hand, cannot be overstated.”
Fabrizio Romano Twitter Handle and Transfer news
If there is any updates that football fans all over the world would believe without any hesitation, then it is Fabrizio Romano transfer news. The Italian Journalist has built integrity and trust around his news and reports such that no one will doubt or disagree.
Just as he clearly stated severally in his interviews, he gets confirmed details and updates of transfer news from reliable sources and act on them according and not just wish or guess work, these sources include club managers, players agents, players etc.
