Chelsea 3-0 Wolves: Player Ratings as Chelsea Outclassed the Visitors

Get the detailed player ratings for the game Chelsea 3-0 Wolves where the young blues players cruised past the visiting Wolves.
Chelsea whitewashed Wolverhampton wanderers in a 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon. The Blues rested quite a number of key players in a bid to get better performance and a spot in the UEFA champions league knockout.
The likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Reece James, Thiago Silver, and Raheem Sterling all started the game from the bench. However, this did not slow down the performance of the young-looking Chelsea team who did well to put three past the Wolves.
Kai Harvertz’s first Half goal was separate both sides. Less than 15 minutes into the second 45 of the game Christian Pulisic doubled their lead and gave the Blue a hope of 3 points. However, Broja’s stoppage-time goal sealed the victory for Potter’s men as they prepare to play AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Chelsea vs Wolves player ratings
1. Chelsea (3-4-2-1)

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – 7/10 – Kepa did well to make some remarkable saves during the game and above all he had a clean sheet again to his credit. Though he must not forget to give credit to the shining sun in the stadium too.
CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 7/10 – He was superb during the game as defended well and also provided good attacking returns for the blues. also maintained a clean sheet at the end of 90 minutes.
CB: Kalidou Koulibaly – 7/10 – Impressive at the defense as he made some blocks against the wolves attack and also maintained a clean sheet.
CB: Marc Cucurella – 6/10 – Struggled to contain ever-penetrating Adama Traore but did well not to concede.
RM: Cesar Azpilicueta – 8/10 – He was absolutely superb in the game being everywhere all through the game. Did amazingly defensively and also made couple of nice crosses. It was quite unfortunate that the skipper was unable to have a goal or at least an assist in the game.
CM: Jorginho – 7/10 – He did well by retaining possession and also blended well in the midfield. His performance was commendable too.
CM: Ruben Loftus-Cheek – 6/10 – Got several chances of going forward but often times losses the ball to the opponent. He needs to step up his game in the midfield.
LM: Christian Pulisic – 8/10 – If only luck was on his side, he would have netted a brace or an hat-trick in the game but at least when chance presented itself, he netted a classic goal past Jose Sa.
AM: Conor Gallagher – 8/10 – He is yet another player who was everywhere on the pitch. Linked up perfectly with Kai Harvertz, Pulisic and Azplicueta.
AM: Mason Mount – 8/10 – Was excellent all through the game as he was involved in two goal and could have recorded his name on the scoresheet but luck wasn’t on his side.
ST: Kai Havertz – 6/10 – Not his best performance but he took the chance when the opportunity presented itself. He was at his best during the game.
SUB: Mateo Kovacic (66′ for Loftus-Cheek) – 7/10 – Coming in from the bench, he did well to have possession during some moments in the game.

Manager: Graham Potter – 8/10 – He was clinical in his formation and team selection that yielded the desired victory at Stamford Bridge. Even without some of his key players he was able to pick all three points. He made the right substitutions just when it was necessary. Great game for Graham Potter.
2. Wolves (4-2-3-1)

GK: Jose Sa – 5/10 – Made a couple of nice saves in both halves of the game but his effort was not enough to deprive the host from scoring.
RB: Nelson Semedo – 4/10 – It was a bad day for Semedo who was nowhere to be found in the defense and was not also supportive upfront. A total blackout for the defender.
CB: Toti Gomes – 4/10 – He was superb in the defense but couldn’t hold unto possession.
CB: Max Kilman – 4/10 – He was the only defender looking all tensed and under pressure. Didn’t perform as he use to, quite a bad day for the defender.

DM: Joao Moutinho – 5/10 – He did well defensively but has a limited mobility upfront leaving Matheus with lot of work to do in the midfield.
RM: Adama Traore – 5/10 – Though he find his way past Cucurella on several occasions, his finishing touhes didn’t yield the desired result.
AM: Daniel Podence – 3/10 – Perhaps he didn’t get the desired support from his teammates upfront to finish the ball as expected. Wasted quite a number of chances.

ST: Diego Costa – 3/10 – He tried to get involved in the first half without much impact. He was substituted in the second half and got an outstanding reception and ovation from the Chelsea supporters.
SUB: Joe Hodge (46′ for Guedes) – 6/10 – Hodge’s was brought in immediately after the halftime break and the young lad actually played better. It was indeed a splendid senior league outing for Hodge.
SUB: Hwang Hee-chan (56′ for Costa) – 3/10 – Didn’t do much. Just a single wasted chance.
SUB: Chem Campbell (72′ for Traore) – 5/10 – Campbell weakened Traore’s wing, as he did nothing much to cause havoc to the home team.
SUB: Rayan Ait-Nouri (72′ for Jonny) – 6/10 – Did well in the defense, one could wish he was introduced earlier.
Manager: Steve Davis – 4/10 – Did well to have done the substitution as at when needed. It was a tough game for the team and Steve Davis will be happy his boys did well but couldn’t a point at Stamford Bridge.

Rangers Youngster Sets Celtic Fans Alight with Bold Celebration in Epic Kilmarnock Moment
Rangers Youngster Sets Celtic Fans Alight with Bold Celebration in Epic Kilmarnock Moment!
In a Scottish Premiership clash that had fans on the edge of their seats, Rangers’ loanee Findlay Curtis turned heads with a cheeky celebration that has since gone viral online. The 19-year-old, on loan at Kilmarnock, was at the heart of the drama as his side surged into an early lead against fierce rivals Celtic at Rugby Park — and he didn’t hold back in celebrating it.
Curtis, deployed in a more advanced role for this fixture, made the most of his opportunity. After Tyreece John-Jules opened the scoring and Kilmarnock doubled their advantage, cameras caught the young winger raising his arms and gesturing in celebration directly in front of the Celtic supporters in the away end — a moment that instantly lit up social media.
Although his exuberant celebration was quickly cut short when veteran keeper Kasper Schmeichel ushered him away, the damage was done — pundits and fans alike have been talking about it ever since. That kind of on-field bravado in front of the rival support doesn’t happen every day, and it’s one that will stick in the minds of supporters on both sides.

Whether you see it as passionate football emotion or a bit of mind games, Curtis’ reaction added another unforgettable moment to a season already packed with drama and rivalry — showing once again why the Scottish Premiership never fails to entertain.

End of the Road at Parkhead? Andy Walker Drops Brutal Verdict on Celtic’s Japanese Duo
“Are Celtic’s Japanese Stars Past Their Best? Andy Walker Predicts End of the Road for Maeda & Hatate”
Recent pundit commentary has stirred fresh debate among fans of Celtic Football Club, with veteran analyst Andy Walker making bold claims about two of the team’s key Japanese players — Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate. Walker’s verdict? This could be the final chapter at Parkhead for both players if they don’t turn their seasons around.
Struggles on the Pitch
Walker’s view stems from both men’s current dip in form. Hatate, normally a creative midfield presence, was recently scrutinised after a costly mistake led to a penalty for Livingston — and Walker suggested it might be time for him to lose his place temporarily in the starting XI to find confidence again.
Meanwhile, Maeda — who once electrified Scottish football with blistering pace and a PFA Player of the Year-winning season — has yet to recapture that spark this campaign. The forward is playing well below the high standards he set previously, and Walker believes both he and Hatate may have run their course at Celtic unless they rediscover their best form before the season ends.
Why This Matters
Walker’s assessment resonates beyond just match performance:
- Maeda’s Blocked Transfer: Earlier in the season, Maeda openly admitted he wanted a move away — only for Celtic to block it — and pundits speculated this block may have affected his focus and sharpness.
- Legacy and Timing: If both players fail to make a strong impact before the campaign’s conclusion, Walker argues their legacies at Celtic could be overshadowed by disappointment rather than remembered for their earlier success.
The Bigger Picture
Celtic’s squad is at a crossroads. With new tactics, fresh faces and evolving expectations under manager Brendan Rodgers, long-serving players must justify their place or risk being phased out. Walker’s blunt but insightful commentary has sparked fresh debate among supporters over who should lead the club forward — and who’s time might be running out.
