With negotiation in progress, Sevilla defender Kounde was not part of the squad that travel for the club’s pre-season tour. According to reports, Chelsea have made an offer that doubles that of rivals Barcelona and appears to be the favorite in signing the young defender.

Chelsea and Kounde have been in a verbal agreement since June. Tuchel has long admired him, and he sees the summer transfer window as an ample opportunity to land the defender at Stamford Bridge.

Tuchel is looking forward to adding more quality to the center-back of his squad after the exit of  Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

Tuchel believes Broja will stay.

Thomas Tuchel has dismissed reports that Armando Broja will leave the London club on loan this summer.

Broja had impressed massively when he spent a year on loan at Southampton last season, and all hints are that he will be part of Tuchel’s plans this season, however, the young lad is in dire search of a new opportunity that will present him with enough playing time.

West Ham have been in active negotiations with Chelsea ahead of a possible transfer of Armando Broja.

“I don’t think he’ll leave,” Tuchel added. “I am aware of the offers and the interest.” The owner, myself and the player will resolve the issue amicably in no distant time.

Chelsea has signed Napoli’s Koulibaly.

Chelsea has agreed to pay a fee of around £33 million for Napoli’s full-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Senegalese international, which has 62 caps for Senegal, has agreed to a four-year deal worth around £160,000 a week (£8.2 million per year) net performance bonuses to join Chelsea.
On Friday, he flew to Las Vegas to join his new teammates on their pre-season tour of the United States.

Nathan Ake is not leaving Manchester City this summer

Manchester City defender Nathan Ake is expected to stay at the club this summer, as Chelsea’s hopes for defensive reinforcements were dashed yet again.

According to The Athletic’s reporter David Ornstein, City has no intention of selling the Netherlands international except if his valuation has been met.
The player is said to be delighted to be staying with the Premier League champions, with his versatility considered as important to his place in Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad.

According to the Athletic, Chelsea’s interest has never been substantiated by a suitable offer.
According to the report, Chelsea will shift their focus to PSG center-back Presnel Kimpembe, with the two clubs currently in serious talks.

Thomas Tuchel call convinced Conor Gallagher to stay

In his loan season at Crystal Palace, Conor Gallagher has scored eight goals and been called up to the England national team. Conor Gallagher, is hoping to become a priority for the Premier League club Chelsea, after been guaranteed of a place in manager Thomas Tuchel’s plans.

Gallagher, who spent last season’s loan spell at Crystal Palace, is yet to play for Chelsea, leading to speculation about his future at the London club.

“(Tuchel) stated that “ he desires me in the squad and he will expect me to prove myself in pre-season, so that’s the plan,” Gallagher explained to BBC.
“It’s exactly what I wish to hear; it was a pleasant phone call, and it provided me with a clear plan for preseason and where I’ll be. It was wonderful to hear.”
Gallagher, who has four England caps and made his first appearance against San Marino last year, was a backbone of Patrick Vieira’s Palace last season, having scored eight goals in 38 games and earning the team’s supporters’ Player of the Season award. Gallagher’s contract with Chelsea expires in 2025.

“Everyone wishes to play as much as they can,” he said, “but I’m ready to work as hard as I can to be on the field of play as much as possible.”
“There really are lots of world-class players in Chelsea present squad, and it’s clearly a difficult team to break into, but if that challenge is there, I think I’d be foolish not to take it.”

Chelsea has completed a £47.5 million Sterling transaction.

Raheem Sterling has joined Chelsea from Manchester City in a £47.5 million deal.

The 27-year-old has signed a 5-year deal with Chelsea with the option of an additional year at Stamford Bridge and has already joined Thomas Tuchel’s squad on their pre-season tour in the United States.

Lukaku has returned to Inter Milan on loan.

Romelu Lukaku has returned to Inter Milan after having completed a season-long loan spell from Chelsea, with no intention to buy.
Inter will however pay Chelsea a loan fee of £6.9 million plus £3.5 million in incentives if they win the League title this season, and will also pay all of his wages this season.
Lukaku has agreed to a 30% pay cut to smooth his exit, with his earnings set to fall from £10 million after tax to £7 million.

AC Milan is confident of concluding a deal with Ziyech.

Chelsea has a contract with Hakim Ziyech until 2025. However, according to Sky in Italy, AC Milan are confident they will be able to complete a deal to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech this summer.
New contact has been established between the two clubs, with Milan eager to make their first addition to the squad this season.
Ziyech has been with Chelsea since February 2020, when he joined from Ajax for £33.3 million.

Frenkie de Jong – According to reports in Spain, Barcelona midfielder De Jong linked with a move to Chelsea this summer (Daily Express, 21 July); De Jong is not interested in joining Man Utd because he detests the city and thinks the team is been managed abnormally, according to a new report in Spain (Daily Mail, 21 July); Chelsea new owner Todd Boehly seized an opportunity to talk over dinner with Barcelona chief Joan Laporta as regards the transfer of de Jong to the English club, as the club are willing to offer a whooping £63 million  (Daily Mirror, July 9).

Jules Kounde – After getting their offer rejected severally by the Spanish outfit, Chelsea are convinced of signing Sevilla defender Kounde after having made an improved £55m offer on Wednesday (Daily Mail, July 21); Chelsea are close to signing Kounde from Sevilla as Thomas Tuchel continues his summer buying spree following the arrivals of Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly (Daily Mirror, July 21); According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to snare Sevilla defender Jules Kound (The Sun, July 19).
Endrick – Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly in talks to sign 15-year-old Brazilian wunderkind Endrick (The Sun, July 19).

Presenel Kimpembe – Chelsea had already made a £40 million bid for PSG fullback Presenel Kimpembe and are still in talks with Sevilla about Jules Kounde (Daily Mail, July 18).
Serge Gnabry – Serge Gnabry is likely to reject a handful of Premier League admirers as he signs a new contract with Bayern Munich (Daily Mail, 14 July); Chelsea are keen on former Arsenal playmaker Serge Gnabry as the club considers possible alternatives to Raphinha and holds talks with AC Milan over a possible transfer of Hakim Ziyech (Daily Mail, July 12) tube galore.

Guido Rodriguez – According to reports, Chelsea have identified Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez as a possible replacement for N’Golo Kante, who has recently been linked with a move to Arsenal (Daily Express, July 12)

Matheus Nunes – When Chelsea first bid for Nunes, he was thought to be the Blues first signing in the summer transfer but the deal failed to pull through. In the first week of July, the London club made a €50 million bid for Sporting Lisbon’s star but unfortunately, the deal goes the other way.

Nathan Ake – Hardly would one ever think Nathan Ake will be linked with Etihad’s exit following his massive impact for Man City last season when Guardiola’s key defenders got injured. However, Chelsea looked beyond the odds to bed for the Ukrainian.

Man City were willing to let go of the central defender as they requested a transfer fee far above Chelsea’s bid. According to The Sun, Man City were asking for a fee of around £50 million to allow Ake to join the London club. If the deal pulls through it will be a homecoming for the former Chelsea player.

Mohamed Salah – When Salah refused to renew his contract with Liverpool, Chelsea were in serious negotiation to re-sign the former Chelsea man. Unfortunately, a synergy was reached and the Egyptian star signed a new contract with Liverpool that made him the highest paid player in the club’s history.

Cristiano Ronaldo – What could be termed the most shocking news in the summer transfer was Cristiano Ronaldo’s declaration of his possible exit from Manchester United. No one saw it coming but it happened. The Man United legend declared his interest of leaving the club this summer for reasons best known to him.

The Portuguese was left of United’s squad that traveled for the club’s pre-season tour and have since received interest from many top clubs including Chelsea. Although no official proclamation was made by the club new manager nor a price mentioned, but Chelsea have long backed out of negotiation after the arrival of Man City winger, Raheem Sterling.

Neymar Jnr – At a point this summer, PSG forward Neymar Jnr declared his intention of leaving the club and Chelsea were quick to show their keen interest in the star boy. Thiago Silva also made a comment on the possible signing of Neymar Jnr when he said he would have loved it if Neymar join him at Chelsea.

Yannick Carrasco – The Atletico Madrid player was approached by lots of clubs including Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea in a bid to sign him to England. Though a clear reason was not stated, but the deal failed.

Christopher Nkunku – RB Leipzig forward Nkunku is currently at the top of his career after a successful outing last season. After his contract expired this summer a lot of clubs trooped in a bid to sign the play, but the ace striker shun interest from the top English teams to sign a four-year contract with the club.

Allan Saint-Maximin – Newcastle are very happy with Saint-maximin but the player is not really happy with the club. The magpies are surrounded by debt and are not financially buoyant enough to pay him a sizeable amount as his wage thereby willing to sell him off this summer to solve of the club’s debt.

The news of Maximin’s exit drew the attention of some of the English big teams including Chelsea, but a suitable agreement wasn’t reached by both parties and the midfielder stays at the club.

Gabriel Slonina – Since the Exit of Chelsea veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech, the blues have been in search of a backup goalkeeper thereby bidding for Slonina of Chicago Fire. However, Chelsea’s £10 million offer was turned down by the club.

The latest Chelsea players to be linked with a possible exit

Armando Broja – The Chelsea striker Broja is a key target for West Hamn and Newcastle United this summer. It was reported that West Ham made an offer of about £30 million to sign the player but Thomas Tuchel is neither ready to sell the Blues forward nor is he ready to let go of the young talent on a loan move. Perhaps if an agreement is reached, Broja may be leaving the club this summer or possibly be on loan.

Timo Werner – Just as many fans believed Werner needs to be given a little more time to prove himself, the Chelsea forward is planning to seek for an opportunity elsewhere as the struggling Blues forward declared his intention of leaving the club this summer.

Ross Barkley – It won’t be a surprise if Chelsea let go of Ross Barkley this season as the player seems not to be in Tuchel’s plan. Also considering the arrival of quite a number of players at the club this summer, Chelsea will definitely be in need of money and as such, some players ought to be released.

Billy Gilmour – Gilmour may be heading to Everton on a season-long loan spell.

Kepa Arrizabalaga – The Chelsea goalkeeper is a key target for Napoli who are willing to bid for Kepa on loan.

Jorginho – The Chelsea number one penalty-taker has declare his intention of leaving the London club this summer.

Reece James – Chelsea are yet to negotiate about James’ future at the club and could hopefully do so in a few days’ time. However, the Chelsea defender is a prime target for lots of big teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester City.

Levi Colwill – English clubs Crystal Palace and Leicester City are interested in signing the Chelsea defender this summer. According to reports, should Leicester succeed in selling off Vestergaard, they will sign the young defender before the end of the summer transfer.

Marcos Alonso – Alonso interest in joining Spanish giants FC Barcelona is being obstructed by his current team, Chelsea. The defender is however preparing to submit a transfer request to the club this summer.

Hakim Ziyech – AC Milan target Hakim Ziyech is on a verge of a possible move to the Italian giants this summer.
Emerson Palmieri – Lazio are favorite to sign the Chelsea player. If things go as planned, we may be seeing Emerson joining the Italian side on a permanent move this summer or at least on a loan.
Cesar Azpilicueta – After signing Christensen from Chelsea, Barcelona are still interested in Azpilicueta and Chelsea are willing to sell the defender for £7 million.
