We bring you the latest update on Gabriel Jesus Transfer news, we confirmed that the former Man City forward has become Arsenal’s second major signing this summer after the arrival of Fabio Vieira from Porto.

Arsenal have been in talks with Manchester City for weeks seeking to pull a deal with the Brazil international who has the intention of leaving Etihad stadium this summer.
Mikel Arteta has prioritized the Brazilian as his target in an attempt to reinforce his attacking line which has not been in good shape since the exit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Arsenal reached terms with the Guardiola side on Friday and also finalize the deal after reaching a personal agreement with the player on Sunday, as Jesus signed a five-year contract with the gunners.

How Much Did Arsenal Signed Gabriel Jesus?

Gabriel Jesus became arsenal’s latest signing after he agreed on a move to the London club for a fee of £45m, a deal that will keep him at the club until 2027.
Edu who is Arsenal’s technical director and fellow Brazilian, and the team’s head coach Mikel Arteta were the frontier of the deal that ensure the forward arrive at Emirate Stadium in preparation for the forthcoming season.
Arteta has worked with Gabriel Jesus in the past at Manchester as a member of the coaching staff under Pep Guardiola and knows exactly how to make things work with the 25-year-old striker at Emirate.

Why Did Gabriel Jesus Left Manchester City to Europa League-Bound Arsenal?

As expected, the arrival of Erling Haaland at Manchester City will limit the playing time of Gabriel Jesus up front. Gabriel Jesus who is in the final year of his contract with City thought it wise to look elsewhere ahead of next season as he may have to start many games from the bench if he must remain at the Etihad next season.

Jesus has been a great forward under the Manchester City boss as he fits in across the front three positions but has been struggling to fit into Sergio Aguero’s shoe as the club’s No.9. He managed to net 8 goals in 28 appearances in the premier league last season.
The 25-year-old has become Arsenal’s fourth signing in the summer transfer window after Arteta’s side brought in Marquinhos, Matt Turner, and Fábio Vieira earlier in the summer transfers.

When Will Gabriel Jesus be Unveiled at Emirate?

After successfully landing the former Man City man at Emirate Stadium, Arsenal are set to unveil him before the end of the week including his shirt number at the London club.

The north London club has already signed and unveiled Porto midfielder Fabio Vieria this summer and are keen on signing Leeds United winger Raphinha.

Gabriel Jesus Stats in the Premier League?

The Brazillian forward has scored 58 goals and 29 assists in the Premier League since he joined Manchester City in 2016-17.

Though he joined the Guardiola side as a teenager, he had done well to win eight trophies during his sojourn at Etihad Stadium including four Premier League titles, three League Cups, and one FA Cup.

Which Shirt Number will Gabriel Jesus wear at Arsenal?

As of June 26, the following squad numbers are still vacant and available at Arsenal: 9, 12, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and likewise shirt numbers 35 to 100.

The above are available for Jesus and no doubt in a few days to come we will be seeing the new attacker wearing either of them.

Other numbers are available but they are occupied by some of Arsenal’s loanees who may probably return to the club and occupy their rightful shirt number. They are Hector Bellerin (2), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (15), Pablo Mari (22), Runar Alex Runarsson (13), Folarin Balogun (26), and Reiss Nelson (24). While William Saliba (4) and Lucas Torreira (11) have had their shirt numbers changed.

Some Arsenal Shirt Numbers that Might Be Vacant soon

Arsenal are on a mission to make their squad stronger and not larger as such there is a high probability that some players will be exiting the Emirate Stadium even as we welcome the new legs.

Kieran Tierney’s jersey (3) will be available should he exit the club before the end of the summer transfer window, though the number will not be suiting for the incoming attacker. Cedric Soares (17), Nuno Tavares (20), and Albert Sambi Lokonga (23) are all one leg out of the club, should they leave the club their jersey numbers will be among those we will be expecting Jesus to wear.

Some Shirt Numbers Gabriel Jesus Had Worn in History

While at Club Palmeiras, Jesus wore shirt number 33, consequent to his arrival at Manchester City in 2017. He also occupied shirt number 33 but switched to shirt number 9.

The shirt number 33 is currently not available at Arsenal but should Okonkwo’s loan move pulls through, the shirt number will be an available option for the Brazillian.

Also, Jesus has worn the shirt number 9 jersey for Brazil, and as expected the number is very much available at Arsenal after the exit of the club’s captain Alexandre Lacazette who returned to Lyon this summer.

How Arsenal Could Lineup with Gabriel Jesus as an Attacker

Every football fan will believe that Gabriel Jesus was signed to replace the Alexandre Lacazette who returned to his former club Lyon after the expiration of his contract.

Arsenal had suffered a goal drought in their 2021/22 campaign as they lack a decent striker upfront. Though Jesus is not the best striker in the league, he has done well in a club like City where the coach has a plethora of options to make when choosing who and who not to play. He scored quite some goals and made remarkable assists good enough to be associated with Arteta’s side.

If the 25-year-old Brazillian took the position of a center forward, then what we should be asking is who should the coach play alongside the new striker. Bukayo Saka’s position on the right-wing is well reserved for the English lad but the same cannot be said for the left-wing which has many players vying for the position with Gabriel Martinelli, Emile Smith Rowe, and Fabio Vieira all keen on securing a place in the starting lineup – and possibly Raphinha may join the drama soon.

Potential lineups:

Bukayo Saka (RW) – Gabriel Jesus (CF) – Smith Rowe (LW)

Bukayo Saka (RW) – Gabriel Jesus (CF) – Martinelli (LW)

Fabio Vieira (RW) – Gabriel Jesus (CF) – Smith Rowe (LW)

Fabio Vieira (RW) – Gabriel Jesus (CF) – Martinelli (LW)

Fabio Vieira (RW) – Gabriel Jesus (CF) – Bukayo Saka (LW)

How Arsenal Could Lineup with Gabriel Jesus as an Winger

Inasmuch as we expect Jesus as Arsenal top striker come next season, one should not be surprised if he occupies the right-wing. Because we saw him playing most of his games last season from the wing while at Man City.

If Jesus was made to play from the flank at Arsenal as he often did for Manchester City, then it may require either Eddie Nketiah or Gabriel Martinelli to act as the top striker while Bukayo Saka take the other winf to complete the front three for Arteta.

Potential lineups:

Gabriel Jesus (RW) – Gabriel Martinelli (CF) – Bukayo Saka (LW)

Gabriel Jesus (RW) – Nketiah (CF) – Bukayo Saka (LW)

Gabriel Jesus (RW) – Nketiah (CF) – Smith Rowe (LW)

Gabriel Jesus (RW) – Nketiah (CF) – Gabriel Martinelli (LW)

Bukayo Saka (RW) – Nketiah (CF) – Gabriel Jesus (LW)

Gabriel Jesus (RW) – Gabriel Martinelli (CF) – Smith Rowe (LW)

Bukayo Saka (RW) – Gabriel Martinelli (CF) – Gabriel Jesus (LW)

Rangers Youngster Sets Celtic Fans Alight with Bold Celebration in Epic Kilmarnock Moment!

In a Scottish Premiership clash that had fans on the edge of their seats, Rangers’ loanee Findlay Curtis turned heads with a cheeky celebration that has since gone viral online. The 19-year-old, on loan at Kilmarnock, was at the heart of the drama as his side surged into an early lead against fierce rivals Celtic at Rugby Park — and he didn’t hold back in celebrating it.

Curtis, deployed in a more advanced role for this fixture, made the most of his opportunity. After Tyreece John-Jules opened the scoring and Kilmarnock doubled their advantage, cameras caught the young winger raising his arms and gesturing in celebration directly in front of the Celtic supporters in the away end — a moment that instantly lit up social media.

Although his exuberant celebration was quickly cut short when veteran keeper Kasper Schmeichel ushered him away, the damage was done — pundits and fans alike have been talking about it ever since. That kind of on-field bravado in front of the rival support doesn’t happen every day, and it’s one that will stick in the minds of supporters on both sides.

Whether you see it as passionate football emotion or a bit of mind games, Curtis’ reaction added another unforgettable moment to a season already packed with drama and rivalry — showing once again why the Scottish Premiership never fails to entertain.

End of the Road at Parkhead? Andy Walker Drops Brutal Verdict on Celtic’s Japanese Duo

“Are Celtic’s Japanese Stars Past Their Best? Andy Walker Predicts End of the Road for Maeda & Hatate”

Recent pundit commentary has stirred fresh debate among fans of Celtic Football Club, with veteran analyst Andy Walker making bold claims about two of the team’s key Japanese players — Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate. Walker’s verdict? This could be the final chapter at Parkhead for both players if they don’t turn their seasons around.

Struggles on the Pitch

Walker’s view stems from both men’s current dip in form. Hatate, normally a creative midfield presence, was recently scrutinised after a costly mistake led to a penalty for Livingston — and Walker suggested it might be time for him to lose his place temporarily in the starting XI to find confidence again.

Meanwhile, Maeda — who once electrified Scottish football with blistering pace and a PFA Player of the Year-winning season — has yet to recapture that spark this campaign. The forward is playing well below the high standards he set previously, and Walker believes both he and Hatate may have run their course at Celtic unless they rediscover their best form before the season ends.

Why This Matters

Walker’s assessment resonates beyond just match performance:

  • Maeda’s Blocked Transfer: Earlier in the season, Maeda openly admitted he wanted a move away — only for Celtic to block it — and pundits speculated this block may have affected his focus and sharpness.
  • Legacy and Timing: If both players fail to make a strong impact before the campaign’s conclusion, Walker argues their legacies at Celtic could be overshadowed by disappointment rather than remembered for their earlier success.

 The Bigger Picture

Celtic’s squad is at a crossroads. With new tactics, fresh faces and evolving expectations under manager Brendan Rodgers, long-serving players must justify their place or risk being phased out. Walker’s blunt but insightful commentary has sparked fresh debate among supporters over who should lead the club forward — and who’s time might be running out.

Adrie van der Poel deelt verontrustend bericht over Mathieu

Published

on
